Your Responsibilities

The Prosecution Authority is looking for someone who wants a central role in crime prevention. As a prosecutor, you will apply the law in theory and practice with significant responsibility and in collaboration with others.

As an extra prosecutor, you will work with all aspects of ongoing criminal cases at a public prosecutor's office. You will lead preliminary investigations, make decisions regarding prosecution, and litigate in court.

Your Qualities and Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

Swedish citizenship
Nordic law degree
Clerk certification from district or administrative court
Experience as a court fiscal or court assessor.

have the ability to collaborate and lead others
be proactive, able to organize and prioritize your work, and make independent decisions
be stable and have good judgment
have good analytical skills and critical thinking ability
have good communication skills.

Selection Process

The position of extra prosecutor is a merit-based employment for six months.

Before an employment offer, the Prosecution Authority may conduct a background check in the suspect register and criminal record. The background check is conducted on the final candidate.

Tests may occur during the recruitment process.

The Prosecution Authority is a preparedness authority. Upon employment, you may be assigned to the Prosecution Authority in case of war. Read more under Work with us.
